An Angel's Message

God's has an angel whose name is Gabriel. He is a very special angel who pass God's message to people. 2000 yrs ago, God sent him to a small city called Nazareth to start a mission call "Mission Impossible That Is Possible".

In this mission, Gabriel need to pass God's message to a young girl in the the city of Nazareth. This girl's name is Mary. Mary was a very speicial girl. She loved God very much so God is with her.

When Gabriel saw Mary, he said, "Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you."

Mary was afraid, she didn't know what happened and what all this mean.

Gabriel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Yeshua. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end."

Yeshua means The LORD saves. It means God wants to same all the people from sins.

Mary puzzled, "How will this happen since I'm a virgin."

Gabriel explained to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. "

Then Gabriel told Mary another miracle of God, "Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be barren is in her sixth month. For nothing is impossible with God."

After hearding all this, Mary believed and said, "I am the Lord's servant. May it be to me as you have said."

Gabriel saw that his part of a great mission has done, he left.

This is the starting of the "Mission Impossible That is Possible With God".

Forgive Others

Once, Yeshua taught this disciples about forgiveness.

Peter asked Yeshua when somebody sin against us, how many time we should forgive him? Seven times?
Yeshua replied, no, 70 x 7 times.

So, What does that means? After Yeshua said that, He told His disciples a story.

Once upon a time, there is a servant. He owned his master 10 thousand dollars. When the time for him to return the money came, he has no money to return. So his master asked him to sell him wife, children and everything he had to pay back the money.

When the servant heard that, he immediately kneeled down and begged the master.
"Have mercy on me, give me few more days, and I will pay back the money."
The master took pity on him, so he cancelled the servant's debt and let the servant go.

The servant was so happy and relief. But when he left the master's house, he saw his friend (another servant) who owned him 10 dollars. He immediately grabbed him, choked him and scolded him. "Pay back what you owned me."

This friend has no money, so he begged the servant. "Please, be patient with me, give me few more day, and I will pay back what I owned you." But the servant was very angry, he refused to give his friend few more day. Instead he threw his friend into prison until he could pay back the money.

Other servants saw what had happened, they reported to the master. The master called the servant. "I took pity on you and cancelled all your debt. Shouldn't you also took pity on your friend and cancel his, just I did?" The master was so angry and threw the servant into prison until he could pay back all he owned.

After Yeshua told the story, he said, "This is how Heavenly Father will treat us unless we forgive others from our heart."

Matthew 18: 21-35
21Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?"
22Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.
23"Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. 24As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand talents was brought to him. 25Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt.
26"The servant fell on his knees before him. 'Be patient with me,' he begged, 'and I will pay back everything.' 27The servant's master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go.
28"But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii. He grabbed him and began to choke him. 'Pay back what you owe me!' he demanded.
29"His fellow servant fell to his knees and begged him, 'Be patient with me, and I will pay you back.'
30"But he refused. Instead, he went off and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay the debt. 31When the other servants saw what had happened, they were greatly distressed and went and told their master everything that had happened.
32"Then the master called the servant in. 'You wicked servant,' he said, 'I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. 33Shouldn't you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?' 34In anger his master turned him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.
35"This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart."

This story teached us that our Heavenly has forgiven all our sins all the time no matter how great and how many they are. Compare our sins to God and the sins that other had against us, it is much more than 10 thousands to 10; and yet He forgives them all everytime. He never keep a record of our sins. He never counts how many times he has forgiven us. Like wise we are are forgive others from our heart all the time.

Keep Praying, Do not give up

Once upon a time, there was a city. In the city, there was a judge. This judge was a bad judge. He was not afraid of God and man. In his eyes, it was only money. He only help those who can give him money, and he bullied those who are poor or good. In the bible, we called him unjust judge.

In the same city, there was a widow. She was very poor and alone. She was bullied by somebody and nobody she can turn to. Her suffering was so great that she has no choice but to come to this unjust judge to ask for justice.

Widow said, "Oh judge, please help me and grant me justice!". Judge said, "You, poor widow, you have nothing to pay me, go away, don't disturb me again."

But the widow didn't just went away. She kept coming back to the judge and ask for justice.

The judge was so trouble because the widow kept disturbing him. He couldn't sleep well, he couldn't eat well. When he close his eyes, he saw the widow pleading at him. He was going to be out of him mind.

Judge: "What should I do, what shold I do, somebody tell me. Help her? Shoud I? She can't pay me. But she kept coming back.... Alright, I will give her justice."

So the judge finally grant the widow her justice.

This story was told my Yeshua. Let's see what he said.
Luke 18: 1-8
1Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. 2He said: "In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. 3And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, 'Grant me justice against my adversary.'
4"For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, 'Even though I don't fear God or care about men, 5yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won't eventually wear me out with her coming!' "
6And the Lord said, "Listen to what the unjust judge says. 7And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"

The lesson that we learn here is "Keep on praying, do not give up." Sometime, after we pray, we didn't see the answer. Don't be discourage, and give up from praying to God. God has his perfect timing to answer our prayer. He has his perfect way to deliver the answer to us eventhough that might not be the way that we espect. Sometime, we ask for the thing that is not good for us. God know what is good for us and He will give us the best.
